Event Overview

This Summer our unique 21st century market town is building on its reputation and celebrating what it does best. Town Centre Sunday Markets in the pedestrian precincts of Cheapside, May Day Green and Queen Street, packed with food, crafts, gifts, fashion, toys and plants.

New this Summer to the Specialist Sunday Market are 'P.S I Made This' a group of local artists and craft makers who have joined together to promote and sell their work through local arts and craft markets.  Jewellery, recycled clothing, accessories and hand made leather bags are just a selection of the items for sale.

Please come along and support your local artists from Sunday 8 August in Barnsley Town Centre.  Any artists or crafts makers who are interested in joining the group, or wanting to know more please email artsdevelopment@barnsley.gov.uk

Make the most of your shopping experience and visit the well established CAR BOOT, you may even pick up a bargain.
