You will always find a friendly welcome from all our traders who really do appreciate our coach visitors.
Our famous market which is open every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, has an indoor and outdoor markets plus has specialist meat and fish traders. We also have many characters for your customers to pay a visit to, from 'George the Sockman' to 'Sailor Sid' the sweet stall.
Coach parking is FREE and situated in the market itself. We ask coach drivers to schedule their arrival no earlier than 10.15am and departure time no later than 3.45pm so traders can access their vehicles.
Your coach driver receives a FREE lunch voucher to use in one of our four market cafes and all visitors to the market receive a goody bag containing a market guide, a guide to Barnsley, a pen and a stick of "Barnsley Market rock".
