Originally conceived as three farm workers' houses, Delf fulfilled this role until a few years ago. Two thirds of the building is now the home of Julie and Tim Elmhirst. The old "No.1" remains as a separate house, and it is this which is available for guests.
The ground floor consists of a fully equipped kitchen and a large living/dining room across the front of the house. Although the house has full oil central-heating, there is a wood-burning stove in the living room. Upstairs there is a bathroom with shower and three bedrooms; one kingsize, one twin and one single.
